Abbotsford, BC – Venom HC AAA is proud to announce the signing of goaltender Carter Hildebrandt of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, to its 19U AAA program for the 2026-27 season.
Standing 6'1" and weighing 155 pounds, Hildebrandt arrives after spending the 2025-26 season with the Northern Okanagan Knights U18 A1 program, where he appeared in 16 games while posting an impressive .912 save percentage and 2.95 goals-against average.

Hildebrandt attended the Venom HC ID Camp this past weekend and quickly established himself as one of the top performers between the pipes. His relentless work ethic, elite compete level, and ability to battle through traffic and second chances stood out throughout the weekend. Carter consistently tracked pucks well, never quit on plays, and earned every opportunity that came his way.
"Carter really impressed our staff with the way he competed," said Venom HC President and General Manager Brady Douglas. "He worked hard for every save, showed great tracking ability, and his determination and willingness to battle were evident all weekend. He earned his spot with us through his performance and attitude."
Beyond his play on the ice, Hildebrandt's character and commitment to improvement made a strong impression on the organization. A team-first player with a desire to win, compete, and continually develop, he embodies the culture Venom HC is building.
"We are excited to welcome Carter and his family to the Venom organization," added Douglas. "He is a tremendous young man who wants to be here, wants to compete, and wants to become a better player and person every day. We believe he has tremendous upside, and we're excited to help him continue his development and position himself for future junior hockey opportunities."
Everyone at Venom HC AAA would like to welcome Carter to the family and look forward to seeing him represent the organization during the 2026-27 season.
Welcome to the Venom, Carter!
