Power Skating Coach - Sony Grewal
With a lifelong passion for hockey that began at the age of 5, I have accumulated a wealth of playing and coaching experience that I now bring to my development program. Starting with minor hockey locally, my dedication and love for the game propelled me to play at the junior A level. I had the privilege of representing the Seattle Totems and later the Rhinos in El Paso, Texas. These experiences not only honed my skills as a player but also instilled in me a deep understanding of the game and the importance of teamwork.
Following my playing career, I transitioned into coaching, starting with the Langley Bantam AAA team. Coaching allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for the sport with young athletes, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential. In addition to coaching, I also serve as a scout for the Seattle Totems of the USPHL Premier league. This role allows me to stay connected to the game at a higher level and identify talented players who have the potential to excel in their hockey careers.
Drawing from my extensive playing experience, coaching background, and scouting responsibilities, I am committed to providing a comprehensive and effective development program for aspiring athletes. My goal is to pass on my knowledge, skills, and love for the game to the next generation, helping them navigate their own hockey journeys and achieve their goals. Seeing players grow, both on and off the ice, is the ultimate reward for me.
