Venom Hockey Club is excited to announce the signing of 2011-born defenseman Jarvis Fisher from Kamloops, British Columbia, for the 2026-27 16U AAA season.
Jarvis first caught the attention of the Venom coaching staff back in May while competing at the Global Hockey Camp in Langley. His work ethic, determination, and relentless style of play immediately stood out, earning him an invitation to attend the club's recent ID Camp.

Over the course of the weekend, Jarvis continued to impress everyone in attendance. Shift after shift, he demonstrated a relentless compete level, never giving up on a puck battle or play. His commitment to doing the little things right, combined with his positive attitude and strong character, made a lasting impression both on the ice and in the dressing room.
"Jarvis's work ethic is second to none; he competes every shift, and he's an outstanding teammate. He brings energy, character, and a team-first mentality every time he steps on the ice. Those are qualities that are difficult to teach, and we're excited to help him continue his development," said 16U Head Coach, Brendan Werbin.
Last season, Jarvis played with the Kamloops Minor Hockey Blazers U15 A Tier 3 program, where he continued to develop his game and prepare for the next stage of his hockey journey.
Leaving home at a young age is never an easy decision, but Jarvis has shown tremendous maturity and confidence in taking this next step. His goal is to continue developing his game while pursuing his dream of playing junior hockey, and Venom Hockey Club is proud to be part of that journey.
We are excited to welcome Jarvis and the Fisher family to the Venom Hockey Club and look forward to watching him grow both as a player and as a person throughout the upcoming season.
Welcome to the Venom family, Jarvis!
