Venom HC U18 AAA Welcomes Goaltender Sawyer Marsh

Venom HC U18 AAA is excited to officially welcome goaltender Sawyer Marsh to the program. A Bellingham, Washington native, Sawyer joins the Venom family as we continue to build a competitive, development-focused environment designed to prepare players for the next level.

Sawyer brings valuable AAA experience to the crease, having competed earlier this season with the Westchester Express 15U AAA, where he faced high-end opponents and continued to sharpen his technical game and composure under pressure. Prior to his time in the U.S., Sawyer also played with the Vancouver Whales of the PHL, gaining important exposure to a demanding league and further developing his consistency, hockey IQ, and ability to perform in key moments.

Beyond his on-ice ability, Sawyer is known for his strong work ethic, coachability, and commitment to growth—traits that align closely with the Venom HC standard. As a 2010-born goaltender, Sawyer enters a pivotal stage in his development, with the next two seasons playing a crucial role in his pathway toward junior opportunities and future offers. Venom HC is committed to providing him with the structure, coaching, and competitive environment necessary to help him take that next step.

Venom HC General Manager and Head Coach Brady Douglas shared his excitement about the signing:

The Venom coaching staff looks forward to working closely with Sawyer as he continues to develop his game, build confidence, and compete at the U18 AAA level. His addition strengthens our goaltending depth and reinforces our commitment to developing high-character players prepared for the demands of junior hockey.
