The Venom HC U18 AAA program is proud to announce the signing of 2008-born forward Ethan Nagy from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Standing at 6'0" and 165 pounds, Nagy brings a blend of physical presence, high-end speed, and relentless work ethic that makes him a perfect fit for our top-six forward group heading into the 2025 season.
Ethan is a dynamic two-way forward who plays the game with intensity and purpose. Known for his power-forward style, he’s just as comfortable battling along the boards as he is burying the puck in tight or flying through the neutral zone with speed. His ability to contribute on both ends of the ice is what sets him apart — a reliable defensive presence who can also change the game offensively in a single shift.

But Nagy’s impact goes far beyond the stats sheet. He brings strong leadership qualities and a winning mentality that will elevate our dressing room and energize the team. Coaches and teammates alike rave about his attitude, accountability, and consistent commitment to growth. With his sights set on earning Junior-level opportunities after this season, Ethan is poised to make a serious splash in his final U18 campaign.
"Ethan is exactly the type of player we want in this program," said Brady Douglas, President and GM of Venom HC. "He’s fast, strong, and smart — a true competitor who raises the level of everyone around him. We believe he’ll be a key contributor for us right out of the gate." With a full offseason of preparation underway, Ethan Nagy is ready to hit the ice with something to prove — and the Venom HC program is thrilled to have him on board for what promises to be a highly competitive season.
Welcome to the Venom, Ethan. Let’s get to work.
