Tyson Brouwer Named New Goalie Coach & Partnership with Assertion Goaltending

Venom HC AAA is proud to officially announce the addition of Tyson Brouwer as the program’s Goalie Coach, alongside the launch of a strategic partnership with Assertion Goaltending.
Brouwer brings an elite combination of playing and coaching experience to the Venom HC staff. His career includes a KIJHL championship, a standout collegiate tenure, and professional experience across North America and Europe. Since transitioning behind the bench, he has continued to build his coaching résumé at the junior level in the KIJHL while also serving as a lead instructor with Assertion Goaltending—one of Western Canada’s premier goalie development programs.
This partnership marks a major step forward in Venom HC’s commitment to elite-level goaltender development.
Assertion Goaltending has built a strong reputation for its athlete-first approach, offering high-performance camps, private training, and development programs designed to maximize each goaltender’s potential. Their model emphasizes small group training, professional instruction, and a detailed, modern development structure that supports both the technical and mental sides of the position.
