Venom HC AAA Welcomes Triston Rivet to the Roster

Venom HC AAA is excited to announce the official signing of Triston Rivet, a highly skilled and experienced forward from Aldergrove, BC. Triston has been competing at a high level in the Premier Hockey League (PHL) for the past four seasons, where he has established himself as a consistent and reliable player. Over that time, he has suited up for both the Vancouver Sharks, where he contributed to their PHL Championship victory, and most recently with the Fraser Valley Aces U18 AAA Team.

Triston’s experience competing in championship environments brings a winning mindset to our program. Having played at the top levels of U18 AAA hockey, he understands what it takes to perform against elite competition and has proven he can rise to the occasion when it matters most. His ability to read the game, create opportunities for his teammates, and contribute in all areas of the ice makes him a versatile and valuable addition to our roster.

Off the ice, Triston is known for his leadership and maturity. He leads by example through his work ethic, positive attitude, and team-first mentality. Those qualities make him a perfect cultural fit for Venom HC, where we place equal value on development, accountability, and character. We believe his influence will extend beyond his own performance, helping push his teammates and raising the overall standard within our dressing room.

GM & Head Coach, Brady Douglas, shared his thoughts on the addition: "Triston is the type of player and person every program wants to have. He’s skilled, competitive, and has been part of winning teams, but just as importantly, he’s a leader who makes the players around him better. We’re thrilled to have him in Venom colours this season.”

With his combination of skill, experience, and leadership, Triston Rivet is expected to play a significant role for Venom HC AAA this season. We are proud to welcome him to the Venom family and look forward to seeing the impact he will have both on and off the ice. This season will be wearing #87.
