FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Abbotsford, BC — Venom HC AAA is proud to announce the signing of Osoyoos, BC native Jesse Pyatt (2008) to the 19U AAA team for the upcoming season.
Pyatt joins the program following a challenging 2025/26 season where he suffered a significant early injury—a broken foot—that sidelined him for the majority of the year. Despite the setback, his determination and commitment to returning stronger have stood out, and Venom HC is confident in the impact he will make this season.

Prior to his injury, Pyatt demonstrated his offensive capabilities with South Okanagan A1, recording 17 goals and 17 assists for 34 points in 46 games. Known as a big-bodied power forward, Pyatt brings a physical edge to the lineup. He plays a hard, direct game, isn’t afraid of contact, and consistently uses his size to his advantage in all three zones.
“Jesse is a player we’re excited about. He competes hard, plays a heavy game, and has proven he can produce offensively. Coming off adversity, we expect him to come in hungry and make a strong statement this season," said President/GM Brady Douglas.
Pyatt will wear #71 for Venom HC as he looks to make his mark at the 19U AAA level.
The organization looks forward to supporting Jesse’s continued development both on and off the ice as he takes the next step in his hockey career.
