The Venom HC AAA Program is proud to announce the signing of USPHL, Bellingham Blazer goaltender, Jacob Wang to our U18 roster for the upcoming season.
A netminder of Jacob’s caliber brings not only proven junior experience but also a level of compete and commitment that is set to raise the bar across the board—for his own development, for his teammates, and for the league.

Jacob arrives with the Venom following a standout performance and year in the USPHL with the Bellingham Blazers, where his athleticism, poise, and hockey IQ were on full display. At just 17, he already shows the maturity and technical skillset of a seasoned veteran. His presence between the pipes immediately elevates the standard in our program and sets a tone of excellence at the U18 level.
President, GM, and Head Coach Brady Douglas spoke highly of Wang’s performance in camp:
“Jacob had such a fantastic camp and showing. His hockey IQ and level of play will excel our program in the crease. He’s not only a high-level goaltender, but also a student of the game who understands what it takes to compete every day.”
The impact of a goaltender like Jacob extends far beyond his individual play. His work ethic and competitiveness are infectious—pushing fellow goaltenders and teammates to raise their standards. In the ultra-competitive AAA environment, having a top-tier goalie in the mix drives internal growth and builds a culture of accountability and excellence.
As we gear up for the new season, the addition of Jacob Wang gives the Vernon HC AAA Program an exciting edge. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the family and can’t wait to see the difference he’ll make—in the crease, in the locker room, and across the league. He will be sporting/wearing #1 this season.
Welcome to Venom, Jacob.
