Venom HC AAA Adds Chilliwack Standout Kolton Bradburn for 2026/27

Venom HC AAA is proud to announce the signing of Chilliwack, BC forward Kolton Bradburn (2012) to the organization’s 16U AAA Team for the 2026/27 NAPHL season.

Bradburn joins Venom HC after an impressive 2025/26 season with the CMHA Bruins U15, where he recorded 28 goals and 42 assists for 70 points in just 32 games. Beyond his offensive production, Bradburn was also recognized as the U15 Most Sportsmanlike Player of the Year, reflecting the character and compete level he brings to the rink.

After attending the Venom HC July ID Camp, Bradburn quickly made an impression on the coaching staff. As one of the youngest players at camp, competing as a 2012-born player against a mix of 16U and 19U athletes, he showed that he was more than capable

of handling the pace and physical demands.

“Kolton was one of the players who really stood out to us at our July camp,” said Venom HC AAA President & GM Brady Douglas. “Being a 2012, he was competing against players significantly older and bigger than him, and he never looked out of place. He competed hard, adjusted quickly and showed a really strong hockey IQ.”

For Venom HC, the focus now is on developing Bradburn into a complete player. With another year of dedicated development focused on skating, speed, hockey IQ and strength, the organization believes Bradburn has the tools and potential to take significant steps forward.

“We believe Kolton has a very high ceiling,” Douglas added. “Our goal is to give him the right environment to develop over the next few years and continue building his game. If he continues to work the way he has been, we are very confident that we can help mould him into a Junior A player in the near future.”

Bradburn becomes an important addition to the Venom HC 16U AAA roster as the organization prepares for its inaugural 16U season in the NAPHL. A talented young player from the local Chilliwack hockey community, Bradburn will now have the opportunity to continue his development at a high level while representing Venom HC AAA throughout the 2026/27 season.
