Italian Forward Giotto Sala TO 19U AAA Team

Venom HC AAA is proud to announce the signing of Italian forward and centre Giotto Sala to the program’s 19U AAA team for the 2026-27 season.

Sala, a 2009-born forward from Italy, will make the move to Canada this fall to continue his hockey development while joining the Venom HC AAA program. Known for his versatility, skill, and strong hockey IQ, Sala adds international experience and offensive upside to the team heading into next season.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Giotto and his family to the Venom HC AAA program. Bringing talented international players into our program continues to build the culture and standard we want for our athletes. Giotto has a bright future, and we’re excited to help him continue developing both on and off the ice,” said President & GM Brady Douglas.

As part of his move to Canada, Sala will be working with the Abbotsford School District and an exchange program while attending Yale Secondary School during his senior year.

The organization looks forward to supporting Sala’s academic and athletic journey as he takes the next step in North American hockey.

Last season, Sala recorded 9 goals and 11 assists, showcasing his offensive skillset, vision, and ability to create plays in all areas of the ice. Giotto’s player profile and statistics are available on Elite Prospects.
