Davidson Brings Size, Skill and Two-Way Ability to 16U Venom HC

Abbotsford Venom HC is excited to officially announce the signing of Chilliwack, BC forward Khai Davidson to the 16U AAA roster for the 2026/27 NAPHL season.

The 2011-born Davidson stands at an impressive 6'0" and 170 pounds, giving him the ideal foundation to continue developing into a strong, physical, two-way impact player. Coming off a productive season with the Chilliwack Bruins U15 A2, Khai recorded 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points in 30 games.

While his numbers from last season caught our attention, it was Khai's recent time on the ice with Venom HC that ultimately made the decision an easy one. After joining the team for the last couple of practices, Davidson immediately stood out to the coaching staff. His ability to read the game, make smart decisions with the puck, compete in all areas of the ice, and play within a team structure was exactly what the Venom coaching staff was looking for.

Just as importantly, Khai quickly developed chemistry with several of his new teammates and fit naturally into the group both on and off the ice.

For Davidson, joining Venom HC represents an opportunity to take the next step in his development while competing in the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) against high-level competition and gaining valuable exposure throughout the season. With his size, hockey sense, willingness to compete, and continued development ahead of him, Venom HC believes Khai has the potential to become an important piece of the 16U AAA lineup.
