Venom HC is proud to announce the addition of Curtis Sawicki from Bellingham, Washington, USA to our U18 AAA roster for the upcoming season. After a standout performance at our recent ID Camp, it was clear that Curtis embodies the skill, mindset, and character we value in our program.

Throughout the camp, Curtis demonstrated a high level of composure and decision-making on the ice—traits that are rare at this level and a testament to his strong hockey IQ. Whether it was breaking pucks out cleanly under pressure, making smart reads in transition, or positioning himself effectively in the defensive zone, Curtis played with maturity beyond his years.

As he continues to grow into his frame, his physical game is catching up to his mental sharpness. That combination of calmness under pressure and developing strength makes him a very exciting player to watch. Curtis has all the tools to be a reliable, consistent presence on the back end, and we expect him to play a meaningful role in our lineup this season.

What truly sets Curtis apart, though, is his leadership and presence off the ice. He’s a natural leader—humble, hardworking, and team-first. He brings a positive energy to the group and sets a standard for what it means to be a Venom HC player. Coaches and teammates alike have already taken note of his professionalism and commitment to the game.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Curtis and his family to the Venom HC organization. His future is bright, and we’re proud to be part of his hockey journey.

Welcome to the team, Curtis!
