The Venom HC U18 AAA team is proud to officially welcome 2010-born goaltender Hudson Page to the program on a developmental contract for the 2025–26 season.
Coming out of the Cloverdale Minor Hockey system, where he played last season with their U15 A2 team, Hudson entered our Main ID Camp this past weekend with something to prove — and he certainly made an impression. Despite facing older and more physically mature players, his effort, poise, and compete level were impossible to overlook. Every drill, every rep, every shot faced was approached with focus and intensity. What truly stood out was Hudson’s internal drive. He’s not just here to fill a spot; he’s here to grow, compete, and become the best version of himself as both a goalie and a person.
“From the moment he stepped on the ice, you could tell Hudson had something special,” said GM and Head Coach Brady Douglas. “His work ethic speaks for itself. He got along great with the rest of the group, connected well with his goalie partners, and had an eagerness to learn that fits exactly what our program is all about. For a 2010 goaltender to show that kind of maturity and composure — it’s exciting to see.”

Under the developmental contract, Hudson will participate in structured weekly sessions, practices, and limited game action throughout the 2025–26 season. He will work closely alongside our two signed Venom goaltenders, gaining valuable reps, mentorship, and experience that will be critical to his long-term development. The opportunity to grow in a high-performance environment — without the pressure of being in a full-time starting role — allows Hudson to develop his game at a faster, more focused pace.
"This isn’t just a future investment — Hudson will be a valuable asset to our organization right away," added Douglas. "His commitment to learning and pushing himself raises the standard in the crease and helps build the foundation of what we’re creating here with Venom HC."
With sights set on earning a full-time roster spot for the 2026–27 season, Hudson Page has taken the next step in his development journey. We’re thrilled to welcome him and his family to the Venom HC organization, and we look forward to helping him grow into the elite-level goaltender he’s working so hard to become.
Welcome to the Venom, Hudson!
