Venom HC Welcomes Chilliwack Brothers Preston & Hudson Davis To 16U

CHILLIWACK, BC – Venom HC is excited to announce the signing of brothers Preston Davis and Hudson Davis of Chilliwack, BC, bringing two talented local players into the organization for the upcoming season.

Preston, a 2011-born forward, joins Venom after spending last season with the Langley Hornets AAA U15/U16 program. In limited action, he recorded 3 goals and 2 assists in 9 games, while continuing to establish himself as a strong two-way player with an evolving offensive game.

The Venom coaching staff has been tracking Preston's development throughout the past season and were impressed with the strides he made.

"Preston is a player we've had our eye on for quite some time. We really like the way his game has evolved over the past year. He's growing into his frame, becoming more confident with the puck, and developing a style of play that we believe fits perfectly with what we're building. We're excited to have the opportunity to continue that development and help him reach another level," said Brendan Werbin, 16U Head Coach.

Joining his older brother is Hudson Davis, a talented 2013-born forward who played last season with Chilliwack Minor Hockey at the U13 level. Hudson will challenge himself by playing up an age group this season, providing an excellent opportunity to accelerate his development against older competition.

"Hudson is an exciting young player with a tremendous work ethic and a willingness to push himself. Playing up an age group is never easy, but we believe he's ready for the challenge. Our focus will be on his long-term development and preparing him to become an elite U16 player in the years ahead," said Brendan Werbin, 16U Head Coach.

Keeping local talent close to home has been an important focus for Venom HC, and the addition of the Davis brothers reflects that commitment.

"We're thrilled to welcome both Preston and Hudson to the Venom family. Bringing talented local players into our program is something we're passionate about, and we're excited to help both boys continue their hockey journey while representing their hometown. We believe both have bright futures, and we can't wait to get to work with them this season," said GM and President Brady Douglas.
